The Dragon ball The franchise has seen a lot of video game releases over the years, and most of them come in the form of fighting games. Given that the series focuses heavily on martial arts and overpowered aliens shooting themselves off the rays, it makes sense that Bandai Namco sees the fighting game genre as the most natural way to translate the concept of the series into a medium. interactive. But while games like Dragon ball fighterz have been very successful, many may understandably want the series to explore new ideas and genres rather than retreading the old ground. It looks like Bandai Namco has answered these fans’ call, as it just released a trailer for a new asymmetric online multiplayer game titled Dragon Ball: The Breakers.

The beginning of the trailer shows a CGI cutscene depicting one of the cities of Dragon ball z in ruins. An unknown figure looks out the window of their house to see a man running in fear, in which case they go back into hiding. Fairly quickly, Cell, one of the show’s iconic antagonists, slowly walks past the house before entering it. Apparently finding nothing, he soon leaves, but a mysterious pot inexplicably begins to sweat. This pot soon turns into an Oolong, who runs away from the scene in a cartoonish way.

Dragon ball like you’ve never experienced it before

Essentially, the gameplay of Dragon Ball: The Breakers follows in the footsteps of other popular asymmetrical online games such as Death by the light of day. The premise sees a player controlling an overpowered villain, such as Cell, who must hunt down up to seven survivors. These survivors, each controlled by a different player, run for their lives as best they can as the villain tries to fry them with beams and other attacks.

The trailer certainly does Dragon Ball: The Breakers seems like an interesting game, especially since its basic premise separates it completely from the rest Dragon ball game there. Hopefully, this unique premise will result in a fun, replayable, and refined product.
