Online game developers often introduce new games, with slots and table game titles coming out regularly to offer operators and players something new and exciting. This week we learned that online casino platform provider SkillOnNet is introducing a new feature for players. It’s nice to see a new option in the game world, with the Hot or Cold feature helping players determine whether a title is producing straight wins or losses.
Come to PlayOJO
SkillOnNet’s Hot or Cold is coming to PlayOJO online casino this week and will launch network-wide soon. The new feature allows players to determine which games are experiencing losing streaks and which are on fire with wins. The information shows how much a game makes over an hour’s period and takes the guesswork out of which titles to play.
Games considered Hot will have a flaming red symbol on them. Cold games will have a blue ice symbol. SkillOnNet has developed this new feature in-house to increase retention and boost player engagement. The idea is similar to land-based games and whether a slot machine or table game has paid off big or is about to do so.
SkillOnNet’s Michael Golembo commented on the new feature, saying, “Hot or Cold is another great innovation from the team and we’re excited to launch it on our flagship brand PlayOJO. Players no longer have to rely solely on their intuition to see if a game has paid off or not.
Launch of the Heating or Cooling functionality via PlayOJO is driven by an advertising campaign. The ads will be placed on television, social media and digital options. UK players can already see the TV campaign and radio commercials will follow soon. Local and national media coverage will also be provided.
SkillOnNet intends to spread the word so that online gamers can take advantage of this new feature. After its debut on PlayOJO, the provider will offer it to all casinos in its network. This will include GentingCasino, EU Casino, Metal Casino, SpinGenie, and more.
Additional advertising campaigns will run in the coming weeks. There are plans to launch ads in Spain through PlayUZU and in Portugal with the help of BacanaPlay. It will be interesting to see if the feature draws players to specific games based on the Hot or cold classification provided by SkillOnNet.
